San Ramon

San Ramon is an incredible suburban city with a rare combination of excellent schools, a blossoming downtown, a buzzy business community, and incredible neighborhoods. San Ramon was recently rated the 7th safest city in all of California and is an excellent place to raise a family. The San Ramon Valley Unified School District is known nationally and has achieved the National Blue-Ribbon Schools of Excellence as well as more California Distinguished Schools of Excellence. 

Not only does it have award-winning schools, but it has a bustling downtown and plenty to do for the whole family. The new City Center Bishop Ranch outdoor mall has amazing upscale restaurants, great shopping with large name brands (like Anthropologie, Pottery Barn and Sephora), and a local farmers market. 

San Ramon has tons of outdoor activities and events as well, including nearby miles of hiking trails (Las Trampas Regional Wilderness, and the Iron Horse Trail), public parks and pools, libraries, events at the community center.
